The Nines Pune is a contemporary restaurant and bar at The Arbour, Marigold Complex, Kalyani Nagar, designed as a vibrant destination for dining, drinks and social experiences. The venue carries a warm yet energetic atmosphere, with modern interiors, inviting outdoor spaces and a lively character that transitions naturally from relaxed daytime dining to more upbeat evenings. Thoughtful lighting, stylish décor and a strong focus on music and entertainment help create an engaging environment where guests can enjoy casual meals, celebrations, social gatherings and late-evening experiences. The overall ambience balances comfort with energy, giving The Nines a distinctive personality that feels equally suited to intimate conversations, group outings and high-spirited occasions.
About the Install
The audio installation at The Nines Pune was designed to support the venue’s transition from relaxed daytime dining to more energetic evening gatherings. With multiple areas across the restaurant, the system needed to deliver balanced coverage, clear music reproduction and suitable output throughout the venue. Certain spaces required stronger projection and low-frequency impact, while others called for discreet sound that could blend naturally with the interiors. Careful zoning and loudspeaker placement helped maintain a consistent listening experience while preserving comfortable conversation levels during quieter hours. The system uses Martin Audio TORUS T1215 loudspeakers for controlled projection, supported by Martin Audio Blackline Q218 and Blackline Q118-B subwoofers for powerful low-frequency reinforcement. Martin Audio Blackline Q10 loudspeakers provide focused coverage where required, while British Acoustics VE-108 TC ceiling speakers and British Acoustics Contract 320 support distributed audio across the restaurant. Power is provided by British Acoustics 2XM, British Acoustics 2XXL and the Linea Research 44M10 amplifier. Together, these products create a flexible and reliable system that supports background music, dining, social gatherings and lively evening programming while maintaining clarity, consistency and impact throughout The Nines.

Pune is a major city in Maharashtra, known for its rich Maratha heritage, educational institutions and historic landmarks such as the Aga Khan Palace. The venue is approximately 4.7 km from Pune Airport, with an estimated travel time of around 17 minutes, depending on traffic. Kalyani Nagar Metro Station is around 1.2 km away and can typically be reached in about 6 minutes, providing convenient connectivity for visitors.
