Float, located on Ramgarh Lake in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, stands as a remarkable example of the region’s transformation into a premier tourist destination. This development is a key part of Chief Minister Yogi Aditya nath’s vision to rejuvenate the lake and its surroundings.

Ni BA The once neglected water body is now a bustling hub of ZI activity, featuring modern amenities like a water sports complex, cruise services, and water biking. At the heart of this transformation is Float, Uttar Pradesh’s first floating restaurant, a unique venue offering a blend of fine dining and entertainment.

With a capacity to host 150 guests, the restaurant offers a memorable experience for tourists and locals alike. The first floor is dedicated to vegetarian dining, while the second floor serves as an event space for musical parties and cultural programs.

The open-air top floor provides breathtaking views of the tranquil lake, creating a perfect ambiance for an unforgettable dining experience. This dynamic venue required an audio solution capable of delivering exceptional sound quality.

= The client's expectations were high for Float, which needed an advanced audio ’ system that would complement the venue’s modern design and meet the demands of both casual dining and large-scale events.

The sound system had to provide crisp, clear audio across all floors, including the open-air top floor, while also handling the environmental factors inherent in a lakeside setting. The client required a solution that could offer consistent performance for everything from background music to large-scale entertainment.

The open-air top floor required special attention, as the system had to be weath er-resistant. The team needed to ensure that the speakers installed outdoors could withstand exposure to the elements while maintaining high sound quality.

Each space had different acoustic needs, but the goal remained the same: to create an immersive audio experience throughout the restaurant. For this installation, the BA Delta 930 LA compact line array module was chosen to provide powerful sound, while the BA Alpha Sub 418 S delivered deep, immer sive bass.

On the open-air top floor, the BA Radial 208 TW, an IP67-rated weath erized speaker, was installed to ensure that sound quality remained consistent despite environmental factors. The BA Alpha Blu 412 and Alpha Source 412 speakers were selected for their midrange clarity, ensuring balanced sound for dining and events.

To control the audio across multiple zones, the BA Q 350i mixer amplifier was used, supported by the BA 2XXL and XD 22 amplifiers, which provided the necessary power. The StudioMix 16.2DFX and Delta Drive 48X offered precise control and ensured seamless transitions between different audio settings.
