Senior Citizen's Club Vashi, Navi Mumbai chooses BA as their sound partner.

The Senior Citizens' Club, Vashi – Nandadeep is one of Navi Mumbai’s oldest community organisations dedicated to senior citizens’ welfare. Established in 1982, the club provides a warm and active space where members can socialise, learn, celebrate, and stay engaged through cultural programmes, health sessions, wellness activities, educational talks, festivals, outings, and community initiatives. As a non-profit and secular organisation, it focuses on improving quality of life, encouraging companionship, and supporting senior citizens with dignity and care.

The audio system was designed to support the Senior Citizens' Club's diverse range of activities while remaining simple and reliable for everyday use. At the core of the installation is the British Acoustics Studiomix 12.6, a 12-channel analogue mixing desk with dual FX, providing flexible control over microphones and music sources. Supporting the mixer is the British Acoustics PW SIX, a digital standalone audio processor that optimises sound quality, improves speech clarity, and ensures smooth system operation across different types of events. The sound reinforcement system is completed with the OSL Pro 15, a 15-inch powered portable multipurpose speaker, offering powerful output and even coverage throughout the venue. The OSL B1 XL microphone delivers clear and natural vocal reproduction, making speeches, discussions, and performances easy to hear. Together, these products provide a dependable audio solution that enhances every meeting, cultural programme, and community gathering hosted by the club.

Vashi is a well-connected node of Navi Mumbai and the first Navi Mumbai station after Mankhurd, the last station on the Mumbai suburban line. It is a well-organised suburban area with many commercial stores and residential societies. Vashi is also home to three major malls: Inorbit Mall Vashi, Palm Beach Galleria Mall, and Raghuleela Mall. For those arriving by air, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai is approximately 21.9 km away, with an estimated travel time of around 59 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
