About the Site
The Nameri Range Forest Office, located in Sonitpur district, Assam, serves as an important administrative facility supporting the management and coordination of activities within the Nameri forest region. Situated close to the Eastern Himalayan landscape, the area is known for its rich biodiversity, forests and riverine ecosystem. The office supports departmental meetings, planning sessions, staff coordination and other official activities, while its Conference Hall provides a dedicated space for discussions, presentations and administrative communication among forest officials and stakeholders.
About the Install
The Conference Hall at the Nameri Range Forest Office required a professional communication system capable of supporting official meetings, departmental discussions and video-enabled conferences. The key requirement was to ensure clear and consistent speech across the room while allowing the chairman and delegates to communicate in a structured manner. The installation also needed to remain visually neat and easy to operate, with conference units integrated into the meeting environment and reliable audio coverage across all seating positions. The audio system uses British Acoustics VS 104 T high-performance 100V speakers powered by the British Acoustics Contract 350Qi installation amplifier, delivering clear speech reproduction throughout the hall. Meeting communication is handled through the OSL BCS 1C Chairman Unit, OSL BCS 1D Delegate Unit and OSL BCS Flush 1D Delegate Unit, centrally managed by the OSL BCS Control Digital Conference System Controller. The addition of the OSL Track Cam 4K – 30X 4K AI Tracking PTZ Camera provides intelligent speaker tracking and detailed video coverage, completing an integrated solution for both in-room and remote communication.
