ABOUT THE INSTALL:
At Flock, Balewadi-Pune, the goal was to create an auditory environment that could fluidly shift from a cozy café vibe to the pulsating energy of a club. The client emphasized the need for an audio solution that offered clarity, depth, and versatility.
The installation posed a unique challenge: integrating a powerful audio setup into a multipurpose space without compromising its visual elegance. Achieving uniform sound distribution and ease of control were key factors in the design.
Addressing these needs, we deployed British Acoustics’ PW608 speakers for their exceptional range and clarity. The Delta 928 S subwoofers provided the deep bass tones crucial for a club setting. A range of TK audio power amplifiers (from TK 4000 to TK 9000) ensured robust and reliable sound amplification. For precise sound shaping, the PW Six RTA digital audio system and StudioMix 16.2DFX mixing desk were chosen. Additionally, OSL’s B1 XL microphones were selected for their superior vocal reproduction.
The result is an exemplary audio installation at Flock, delivering a dynamic and immersive sound experience that enhances its multifaceted ambiance.
