ABOUT THE SITE :

The Greater NOIDA Branch of Somerville School was established on 2nd July 1998 by the Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India, to fulfill the long cherished dream of Dr. W. C. Somerville, to spread education in the country. The School is administered by The Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India. It is an unaided Christian Minority School affiliated with the CBSE Board under the 10+2 scheme. The medium of instruction is English. Sommerville school is located at Pocket H, Block H, Sector Alpha II, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201310.

ABOUT THE INSTALL:

The audio equipment at Somerville School has recently undergone a significant upgrade, carried out by a team of highly skilled engineers. The school required a sound system that would meet the needs of their large auditorium and deliver clear, crisp sound to all students and staff.

To achieve this, the engineers utilized a combination of TRS-212 Dual 12” 1.5”, 4-ohm mid-high cabinets and TRS-218 Dual 18″ High-Performance Subwoofers, which are renowned for their exceptional sound quality. The TRS-212 Dual 12” 1.5”, 4-ohm mid-high cabinets feature a high-power 1.5″ titanium compression driver that provides clear and detailed high-frequency sound, while the 12” woofers produce a warm and punchy midrange. These cabinets were installed at the front of the auditorium to ensure the sound could be heard clearly from all corners of the room. To complement the mid-high cabinets, the engineers installed TRS-218 Dual 18″ High-Performance Subwoofers, which deliver a powerful and rich bass that adds depth and impact to the sound. The subwoofers were strategically placed around the auditorium to ensure even distribution of the bass, providing an immersive audio experience for listeners.

The 2XL is a two-channel amplifier system that can deliver 600 watts of power, making it ideal for powering the TRS-212 and TRS-218 systems. It is designed for easy installation and can be used in a variety of venues, including restaurants, bars, and conference rooms. The 2 XM is a two-channel amplifier system that provides 250 watts of power and is perfect for use in smaller venues or as a backup system.

Noida is a planned city in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh. The riverside Okhla Bird Sanctuary is home to migratory and native birds, plus jackals and butterflies. Plants at the Botanic Garden of the Indian Republic include water lilies and cacti. Noida International Airport is about 47.8 km away and it takes 47 minutes to reach Somerville School from the airport. Boraki railway station is about 7.7 km away and it takes 15 minutes to reach there.
