Located in Kolkata, the Dumdum Townhall was a well-known theatre, which was recently rebuilt by the Dumdum Municipality under the guidance of Mr. Bratya Basu, a renowned playwright, and IT Minister of Bengal, Prof. Sougata Roy, Member of Parliament with inspiration from the honorable CM, Ms. Mamta Banerjee. The 750 seater auditorium, features historic architecture and the stage will be set for dramatics, live / musical performances. Since this is a mixed colonial area, people of different religions and communities come to perform here.
