About The Install
The Paradip Port Authority in Paradip, Odisha, required a comprehensive and advanced audio solution to enhance its communication systems. Given the vast area of the port and the constant need for clear and effective communication, the client expected a robust, high-performance sound system capable of operating reliably in a challenging marine environment. The aim was to ensure seamless public announcements, operational instructions, and emergency alerts across the entire port facility.
To overcome these challenges, the installation team deployed an array of top-notch products. The British Acoustics Delta 48 loudspeaker processor, with its 4-in 8-out configuration, provided the necessary processing power and flexibility. The Radial 206 TW single 6″ IP67 rated 2-way speaker systems ensured weather resistance and durability. High-performance 2XM amplifier systems from British Acoustics were used to drive the speakers effectively. The StudioMix 16.2 mixing desk offered advanced mixing capabilities with dual FX, ensuring superior sound management. Additionally, OSL’s OD1000 8IO and 16 IO2 DSP Dante processors provided advanced digital signal processing and connectivity, while the OS 8 MIC omnidirectional condenser boundary microphones ensured clear sound capture.
