ABOUT THE SITE :
The Burrow is an all-new European-inspired dishes restaurant. Eat, Drink, Gather — seems to be the tagline of The Burrow, a newly launched modern European bar and kitchen at BKC. The upscale locality with clean lanes, premium corporate office buildings, a drive-in theatre, and a ritzy salle a manager all over is appealing and soothing. When I got the chance to check out this café, I was quite excited. The interiors reveal a spacious, charming place with stone walls and wood elements. Semi-circular sofas in the periphery for groups of six with two and four-seater arrangements elsewhere, with a view of the display kitchen, are engaging. We spotted the owner-cum-chef Yashasvi herself engrossed in plating the dish before it reaching our table. The menu boasts unique handcrafted drinks that elevates the experience through aesthetics and eclectic mixes. The interiors capture both the spirit of a European bistro as well as a burrow that feels like a cuddle with its cheerful and welcoming air. ABOUT THE INSTALL:
The Burrow wanted a system that would complement the groovy venue and enhance the diners’ experiences. This system had to be discreet and provide melodic music to the restaurant.
Martin Audio Blackline X10 and Martin Audio Blackline X8 were the focal products of the system. The Martin Audio Blackline X10 is a high-performance yet very compact two-way passive loudspeaker system that utilizes a 10” (250mm)/2.5” (63mm) voice coil LF driver and a 1” (25mm) exit HF compression driver with a 1.4” (35mm) polyimide diaphragm. The rotatable 90° x 50° HF horn has equal horizontal and vertical mouth dimensions for directivity control in both planes.]. The Blackline X8 is an ultra-compact passive two-way system with an 8” (200mm)/2” (50mm) voice coil LF driver and a 1” (25mm) HF driver mounted on a 90° x 50° horn which can be easily rotated for horizontal or vertical orientation, depending on venue requirements. Its very small size does not indicate its high output capability.
